Indigenous Research Day at Trent University promises to be a dynamic and enriching event that celebrates and showcases the importance of Indigenous knowledge and research. 

 

The event kicks off with a lunchtime captivating keynote presentation by Kyle Whyte, a distinguished scholar from the University of Michigan, whose expertise in Indigenous philosophy and environmental ethics is both inspirational and thought-provoking. 

 

Following the keynote, the event takes a collaborative turn with a panel discussion featuring prominent Potawatomi Scholars, Browning Neddeau, Bryce Lewis-Smith, Geneva Mayall, Kaya Deerinwater, and Mary Beth Jäger, dialogue, moderated by Barbara Moktthewenkwe Wall, will offer a unique and in-depth exploration of a diversity of research topics and applications. 

 

Global Health and Well-being” Nurturing People and Planet provides a platform for meaningful discourse and the exchange of ideas, fostering a deeper understanding of Indigenous research and its profound significance in our society.
